Family Fellowship

“They broke bread together in different homes and shared their food happily and freely, while praising God,” Acts 2:46,47 CEV

          Family Fellowship is just what the name implies.  Our purposes are:

First, to promote Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of the Woodland Hills Church family.

bullet

Second, to create closer relationships within this church family through periodic, organized fellowship activities.

bullet

Third, to create an unpretentious, informal occasion that will be attractive to invited guests.

           There are many activities that are planned throughout the year. There is always an Easter Egg Hunt, and picnics and outdoor activities during the summer and fall.  In December, we have our annual Christmas Party in the Life Center, complete with catered dinner and live “entertainment”.

          As with any activity that involves the participation of a large number of the members of the church family, there is always work for everyone who wishes to serve.  Particularly, we need:

Ladies willing to decorate for special fellowships;

bullet

Ladies (and gentlemen) willing to prepare food for some meals;

bullet

Gentlemen to help with setting up tables and chairs;

bullet

Gentlemen to help with take-down and clean-up.

          If you are interested in helping with any of these areas, please let us know.  Remember, “Many hands make light work!”
