A GREAT FRIENDS & FAMILY DAY

Our Friends and Family Day this past Sunday was a tremendous success.  I wanted to say thank you to all who made an effort to bring someone with them on this day.  It is good to be joined in a worship service by so many who mean so much to us.  Besides the fact that we were all together for worship and enjoyed a good meal together, the numbers were very encouraging also.  We had 239 for Bible Class and 371 for worship!  Keep up the good work, and let's always look for opportunities to invite our loved ones to worship with us.

This great weekend is really indicative of the overall encouraging direction in which Woodland Hills is heading.  To show this I wanted to list our growth in average numbers over the last few years.

  2004 2005 2006
Bible Class 140 150 167
AM Worship 229 241 254
PM Worship 125 149 164

I am so thankful for everyone's hard work and for the optimistic spirit that continues.  Keep up the good work!

See You In Bible Class Sunday,
Bobby O
